Elizabeth in Delaware

The Senior Citizens Association of America is on a mission to help seniors across America with cost saving strategies, access to quality healthcare, and assistance with establishing financial security.

For Elizabeth P. of Delaware, the SCAA was there for her in her time of need. “Without the SCAA I would have been up a creek without a paddle. I was at my wits end. The SCAA was a God-send,” she said. Elizabeth had lost her job and her stress level was high. Making ends meet each month was a challenge until a caring advocate from the SCAA came to her aid.

After carefully listening to Price and understanding her needs, an SCAA advocate customized solutions to help her. Elizabeth was enrolled in the Delaware Prescription Assistance Program, was signed up for Medicare Part B, and was guided toward other local sources of assistance that proved to be helpful.

The results for Elizabeth have made a world of difference. “I am now going to have health insurance, get to go to the doctor, and be able to afford my prescriptions. My stress level has been reduced by sixty percent. It is so nice to know that there is another association out there to help seniors,” she said.

At the Senior Citizens Association of America we are here to serve you and help you take control of the important issues that you face. Call us today at 1-888-377-4030 and let one of our senior advocates assist you.

Michael in Pennsylvania

For Michael K. of Pennsylvania, the Senior Citizens Association of America has made a world of difference. Struggling to make ends meet, Michael found it difficult to pay for much needed prescriptions and getting by each month was a challenge. “It was an unbelievable nightmare,” says Michael, “I couldn’t afford it, and I didn’t know how I could keep going.”

SCAA senior advocate Charlotte Underwood went to work on Michael’s behalf and soon he received the help he desperately needed. He was assisted in applying for Extra-Help through the Social Security Administration which helped cover his prescription needs. Through the assistance of SCAA affiliate Westchase Pharmacy, Michael’s prescriptions now come directly to his home. Underwood said, “It gives us great pleasure to help our seniors save money and improve their quality of life. It is what we are committed to as senior advocates here at the SCAA.”

The Senior Citizens Association of America is on a mission to help seniors across America like Michael K. with cost saving strategies, access to quality healthcare, and assistance with establishing financial security.

As for the service he received from the SCAA, Michael says, “It could not have been better. They guided me in the right direction. They were unbelievable. I can’t say enough good things about the SCAA.”

Orangeburg County Council On Aging

Dear Doug:

It is my pleasure to write this letter of endorsement for you and your organization.  When you called me back in January of this year and asked us about having a shredding event in our parking lot, we were thrilled.  Our Seniors know how important it is to secure their personal information, and with most not having a shredder, this came in real handy.  Anytime you would like to do this again, just let me know.

I also thank you for participating in our last annual Health Fair on May 30.  Again, we had a good turnout and raised over $1000 for our Home Delivered Meals program.  Thanks, too for the door prizes.  Our Seniors always like winning.

Looking forward to working with you again in the future.  Take care and thanks again.

Sincerely,

Janet H. Antley

Shred-It

Doug,

Shred It has been lucky enough to team up with Senior Citizens Association
of America for several events this year.  We enjoy working in a fun and
professional environment while assisting seniors in destroying their
personal and confidential material.  The SCAA sets up a great experience for
seniors full of information and we get to help by keeping them from identity
theft. Many thanks to the SCAA and all that they do for our seniors.

Legacy Church

We recently had Doug Dickerson with the Senior Citizen Association of America at our church speaking to some of our senior "saints". It was a great presentation in a safe environment for them to hear about the latest issues seniors face and the programs that may be available to them as they age. The presentation was professional and well worth the hour we spent listening. There was no sense of "sales pressure" and our seniors greatly appreciated the information that was given to them. I could recommend without reservation to any church or civic organization with seniors in their ranks a presentation from Doug and this organization. Your seniors will feel affirmed and will be legitimately helped by this service.
